It is not July in the mountains.Not only because of the driving (7 hours up because people were screwing around BI, and three hours back), but because of the fact that my aunt's van's transmission decided to go kablooey halfway up the mountain, the house was nothing like advertised and had a suicide-drop off the porch, and I had to listen to my brother A, coughing and hacking like he was gonna puke up a lung, B, bitching at my dad and me to be quiet because he stayed up watching movies the night previous, thus getting no sleep, and C, blabbering nonstop about nonsensical shit when he was not doing either A or B.
*dies*
At least I don't have to deal with him when I leave for Pennsylvania in *looks at calendar* ... one week.
But really, the trip wasn't that bad. I got to go hiking on Pond Creek and get some really pretty pictures, and pictures of Dutch Creek, which runs directly behind the Mast General Store annex location. It's right down the road from the original.
And a snail.
And I toured Appalachian State (ie, drove around the campus). I like it.
